You need an appointment

The consulate's appointments page says walk-ins are not accommodated, and you will not be seen if you book one service and turn up for another. Each service has its own booking form on the consulate's appointments page.

Note that a US$200 replacement fee applies to passports renewed with more than 12 months of validity left. The consulate takes cash or debit card (with a 4% surcharge) at an in-person appointment, and a money order made out to the Consulate General of Jamaica for mailed applications.

If you live in another state

The Consulate General in Miami, at 44 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida (phone 305-374-8431, open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon), serves Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The Embassy in Washington accepts mailed applications only from residents of Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, California and Washington State.
